For driving instructors

If you have pupils with a test booked at Sevenoaks, please tell them about Sevenoaks Driving Test Swap. It's free, and it helps them find a test date that suits you both.

How you can help

• Tell pupils about the site, or share the message or poster below.
• Agree with your pupil which dates they'll be ready for and you're free, before they sign up.
• When they're offered a swap, check that you can take them on the new date and time.
• Keep your availability up to date with DVSA, so the dates your pupils book suit you. See DVSA's guidance on managing your availability.

What only your pupil can do

Since 12 May 2026, only the learner can book, change, swap or cancel their car driving test. So your pupil needs to:

• sign up themselves, with their own email address
• choose and accept a swap themselves
• phone DVSA themselves to make the swap

Please don't register a pupil's test or phone DVSA for them. If your pupil booked through you before 12 May 2026, make sure they have their booking reference.
